The mussel beds in this part of the Wadden Sea are a good feeding ground for birds like Edredone , Svasso piccolo and, in winter, Strolaga minore and/or Uria . When you're lucky, you may find a Svasso cornuto or a Svasso collorosso between the numerous Svasso piccolo , that gather here after the breeding season.

De mosselbanken in dit deel van de Waddenzee zijn een goede voedselplek voor vogels als Edredone, Svasso piccolo en in de winter Strolaga minore en / of Uria. Als je geluk hebt, vind je misschien een Svasso cornuto of een Svasso collorosso tussen de talrijke Svasso piccolo, die hier na het broedseizoen samenkomen.

There is a parking lot along the IJsdijk and a maintenance road as well as a staircase going over the dike. Most of the birds can easily be seen from the dike. In winter, it may be interesting to search the outer rocks for Spioncello marino and Zigolo delle nevi.

Nederlands: Er is een parkeerplaats langs de IJsdijk en een onderhoudsweg en een trap over de dijk. De meeste vogels zijn vanaf de dijk goed te zien. In de winter kan het interessant zijn om in de buitenste rotsen te zoeken naar Spioncello marino en Zigolo delle nevi.
