At night and early in the morning, the Quaglia sings. During the day you can especially enjoy birds such as the Ballerina gialla, Cuculo, Zigolo giallo, Pettazzurro, Ballerina bianca, Allodola and Cicogna bianca. In the summer you have a chance of seeing Falco pecchiaiolo, Corriere piccolo and Gru. De Averla piccola settles down in the stream valley almost every year as a breeding bird and the ponds on the old fields are used by Spatola and Airone bianco maggiore. In winter, geese can be seen in the area, such as the Oca granaiola della taiga and Oca granaiola della tundra.

Nederlands: Het Oostervoortsche Diep is in oude glorie hersteld. De beek heeft weer meanders gekregen en het omliggende natte beekdal is uitermate geschikt voor vogels. In de nacht en 's ochtends vroeg zingt de Quaglia. Overdag kun je hier vooral genieten van vogels als de Ballerina gialla, Cuculo, Zigolo giallo, Pettazzurro, Ballerina bianca, Allodola en Cicogna bianca. In de zomer heb je kans op het zien van de Falco pecchiaiolo, Corriere piccolo en de Gru. De Averla piccola strijkt vrijwel jaarlijks neer in het beekdal als broedvogel en de plassen die op de oude akkers staan worden gebruikt door de Spatola en de Airone bianco maggiore. In de winter zijn ganzen waar te nemen in het gebied, zoals de Oca granaiola della taiga en Oca granaiola della tundra.

The area is best reached by bike or car and is also best viewed from the road. At the beginning of the cycle path is a watchtower from which you can look out over the stream valley. Most bird sightings are done from the Osbroekweg. It can be combined on foot with the forest of Norg.

Nederlands: Het gebied is het best te bereiken met de fiets of de auto en kan ook het beste vanaf de weg worden bekeken. Aan het begin van het fietspad staat een uitkijktoren waarvandaan over het beekdal kan worden uitgekeken. De meeste vogelwaarnemingen worden gedaan vanaf de Osbroekweg. Wandelend is het te combineren met het bos van Norg. Lange wandelroute mogelijk van 15,5 km vanaf Lieversche Diep.
