The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example Usignolo, Sterpazzola, Bigiarella and Canapino maggiore. In the young forest you can already find Picchio rosso maggiore and Picchio rosso minore. In the fields around the forest, the Piviere tortolino is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter Poiana calzata and Smeriglio.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld Usignolo, Sterpazzola, Bigiarella en Canapino maggiore. In het jonge bos zitten al Picchio rosso maggiore en Picchio rosso minore. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de Piviere tortolino gezien en in de winter Poiana calzata en Smeriglio.
