The Klutenplas (which means 'the pond of the Avocetta') is a protected flooded piece of land that attracts many birds. From a viewpoint you have a surprisingly beautiful view. Many species of birds can be seen from here.
The breeding birds are protected against foxes with electric fence. Breeding birds that can be seen here: Corriere piccolo, Avocetta, Beccaccia di mare and Pavoncella.
Other birds that can often be seen here: Spatola, Piro piro piccolo, Combattente, Pettegola. With a little luck you can spot Albanella minore or Garzetta.
