Rosendael Castle is a late medieval castle that was built by the Count of Gelre. In the forest park you will find springs of the Rozendaalse stream and ponds that are fed by that stream. Due to the presence of ponds you can find Ballerina gialla, which also breeds in the park. The ponds are usually home to the Tuffetto and if you are lucky you will see a Martin pescatore. You can also find forest species of the Veluwe.

Nederlands: Op de rand van de hooggelegen Veluwe ligt kasteel Rosendael en het bekende park Rosendael. Kasteel Rosendael is een van oorsprong laatmiddeleeuws kasteel, dat door de graaf van Gelre werd gebouwd . In het bospark vind je sprengen van de Rozendaalse beek en vijvers die worden gevoed met die beek. Door de aanwezigheid van vijvers kun je Ballerina gialla vinden die ook broedt in het park. Op de vijvers zit meestal Tuffetto en als je geluk hebt zie je een Martin pescatore. Verder kun je de Veluwse bossoorten vinden.

Rozendael Castle is located north of Arnhem near the village of Rozendaal. Click on P to park. For entrance to Rosendael Castle and Park you have to pay an entrance fee. This is 13.50 euros per person (2025). The opening hours are from 11:00 to 17:00 in the summer and from 11:00 to 16:00 in the winter. The park is separated from Rozendaalse Bos by a fence.

Dit is 13,50 euro per persoon (2025). Met een museumjaarkaart kun je gratis naar binnen. De openingstijden zijn van 11:00 tot 17:00 in de zomer en van 11:00 tot 16:00 in de winter. Het park is afgescheiden van Rozendaalse Bos met een hek.
