The Kampina is a beautiful nature reserve of 1200 hectares. It has grasslands, woodland, wet heaths and dozens of fens. Lots of variation in landscapes and therefore many birds. 115 breeding birds have been observed in this area, 30 of which are on the red list. Species such as Succiacapre, Culbianco, Canapino maggiore, Rigogolo, Cuculo and various species of owls and birds of prey are found here.

Nederlands: De Kampina is een prachtig natuurgebied van 1200 hectare bij Boxtel. Het heeft graslanden, bos, natte heide en beekdalen. De Kampina telt tientallen vennen. Veel variatie in landschappen en dus veel vogels. Er zijn 115 broedvogels waargenomen in dit gebied, waarvan er 30 op de rode lijst staan. Soorten als Succiacapre, Culbianco, Canapino maggiore, Rigogolo, Cuculo en verschillende soorten uilen en roofvogels komen hier voor.

You can park at the Huisvennen - Roond car park. Click on the P in the map for directions to the car park. The area is good for walking and cycling. Different routes have been plotted. There is also a route for wheelchair users and mobility scooters. The walking route shown on the map is approximately 10 km.

Nederlands: Parkeren kan op de Parkeerplaats Huisvennen - Roond. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar de parkeerplaats. In het gebied kun je goed wandelen en fietsen. Er zijn verschillende routes uitgezet. Er is ook een route voor rolstoelgebruikers en scootmobielen. De wandelroute die op de kaart is weergegeven is ongeveer 10 km. In het zuiden van de Kampina staat ook nog een uitkijktoren.
