The Drentse Aa is a meandering brook in a beautiful natural and cultural landscape. It is part of the Drentsche Aa National Park, one of the best-preserved stream valley landscapes in The Netherlands. The landscape around the Drentse Aa near Schipborg is beautiful. Walk through the landscape and look for the Picchio muratore, Picchio nero, Picchio rosso maggiore, and during migration season, a chance of Nibbio reale, Corvo imperiale and Gru.

Nederlands: De Drentse Aa is een kronkelende beek in een fraai natuur- en cultuurlandschap. Het maakt deel uit van het Nationaal Park Drentsche Aa, een van de best bewaarde beekdallandschappen. Het landschap rondom de Drentse Aa bij Schipborg is prachtig. Wandel door het landschap en zoek de Picchio muratore, Picchio nero, Picchio rosso maggiore, en in de trektijd kans op Nibbio reale, Corvo imperiale en Gru.

The walk starts just south of the village of Schipborg. Park at the Kymmelsberg on the north side of the route or on the south side of the route at the Molensteeg. Both are free and have plenty of space. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking lot. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 7 km.

Nederlands: De wandeling start net ten zuiden van Schipborg. Parkeren bij de Kymmelsberg aan de noordkant van de route of aan de zuidkant van de route bij de Molensteeg. Allebei gratis en veel ruimte. Druk op een P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar een parkeerplaats. De rondwandeling die is weergegeven op de kaart is ongeveer 7 km.
