Delta Schuitenbeek is situated between the Nulde marina and the Nijkerkersluis, parallel to the old Zuiderzee dike. On the south side of the Nuldernauw, a new diversion dike, which is 3793 meters long, has been built parallel to the existing dike. An elongated area has thus been created between the two dykes, where the water is shallow and where a few islands have been constructed. The area of the delta is 57.8 ha. An ideal place for waterfowl, which are present here in large numbers. The bird hide that was once there is unfortunately closed, and the path leading to it is no longer accessible either. Now the area can only be viewed from the cycle path on the Putter Zeedijk on the south side. Birds you can see in the area include many ducks, geese and swans (Codone, Volpoca, Fischione, Mestolone, Alzavola, Cigno minore) and often Martin pescatore. In addition, there are often migrating waders (Pettegola, Piro piro culbianco, Piro piro piccolo) and large groups of Pavoncella. Seagulls and terns are often found on the poles and stones. The adjacent Putterpolder is an important area for various species of geese. In the winter you can regularly see Smergo maggiore, Pesciaiola and Quattrocchi on the water.

Nederlands: Tussen jachthaven Nulde en de Nijkerkersluis, parallel aan de oude Zuiderzeedijk, ligt Delta Schuitenbeek. Het is een fraai natuurgebied van bijna 60 hectare aan het Veluwemeer. Aan de zuidzijde van het Nuldernauw is evenwijdig aan de bestaande Zeedijk een nieuwe afleidingsdijk gebouwd, die 3793 meter lang is. Tussen beide dijken is zo een langwerpig gebied ontstaan, waar de waterdiepte gering is en waar enkele eilandjes zijn aangelegd. De oppervlakte van de delta is 57.8 ha. Een ideale plek voor watervogels, die hier dan ook in groten getale aanwezig zijn. De vogelkijkhut die er ooit was, is helaas gesloten en het pad ernaar toe is ook niet meer toegankelijk. Nu is het gebied alleen nog te bekijken vanaf het fietspad over de Putter Zeedijk aan de zuidzijde. Vogels die je in het gebied kunt zien zijn onder meer (Codone, Volpoca, Fischione, Mestolone, Alzavola, Cigno minore) en vaak ook Martin pescatore. Daarnaast zijn er vaak doortrekkende steltlopersoorten (Pettegola, Piro piro culbianco, Piro piro piccolo) en grote groepen Pavoncella te zien. Op de palen en stenen staan vaak meeuwen en sterns. De aangrenzende Putterpolder is een belangrijk gebied voor verschillende soorten ganzen. In de winter regelmatig Smergo maggiore, Pesciaiola en Quattrocchi op het water te zien.

On the A28 Amersfoort-Zwolle, take the Strand Nulde exit. Follow the direction Strand Nulde Zuid. Please note: this is paid parking. From the car park you can walk or bike to the cycle path. After the exit Nulde, it is also possible to park in the corresponding free car park via the petrol pump - harbor - hotel route as far west as possible. You do have to walk a little longer (3 minutes) via a gate and beach Nulde.

Nederlands: Neem op de A28 Amersfoort-Zwolle afslag Strand Nulde. Volg de richting Strand Nulde Zuid. Let op: hier is het betaald parkeren. Vanaf de parkeerplaats kun je het fietspad op lopen of fietsen. Ook is het mogelijk om na de afslag Nulde via de route benzinepomp - haven - hotel zover mogelijk westelijk op het bijbehorende vrije parkeerterrein te parkeren. Wel moet je dan via een hekje en strand Nulde iets langer lopen.
