With al the old beeches in this part of the forest this is definitely the best place to find Picchio rosso mezzano andPicchio nero. The Beekhuizensebeek is also home to Ballerina gialla and sometimes Martin pescatore is around in the area. The pine forest on the edges will definitely be good for Cincia dal ciuffo, Fiorrancino and Cincia mora. During the walk keep your eyes and ears open for Astore, Ciuffolotto, Frosone, Cincia bigia and so on!

Nederlands: Met veel oude beuken in dit deel van het bos is dit de beste plek om Picchio rosso mezzano en Picchio nero te vinden. De Beekhuizensebeek is ook de thuisbasis van de Ballerina gialla en soms is er een Martin pescatore in de buurt. Het dennenbos aan de randen zal zeker goed zijn voor Cincia dal ciuffo, Fiorrancino en Cincia mora.
