Ballumer Noordstrand is a green beach to the north of the village of Ballum. During migration, you can see many different birds like Piovanello pancianera, Pittima minore, Piovanello maggiore and many other birds. It is a huge area. Sometimes the birds can be quit close. During low tide you can walk very far and observe many nice birds. See the link to the tides table below.

Nederlands: Het Ballumer Noordstrand op Ameland is een mooi en groen strand ten noorden van het dorp Ballum. Tijdens de trek kun je veel verschillende vogels zien, zoals Piovanello pancianera, Pittima minore, Piovanello maggiore en vele andere vogels. Het is een enorm gebied. Soms kunnen de vogels heel dichtbij zijn. Bij eb kun je heel ver lopen en veel mooie vogels observeren. Zie de link naar de getijdentabel beneden.
