The Abtswoudse Park is an area with reed beds, ditches and meadows. Despite the location close to a residential area and the relatively large number of recreationists, you can see nice birds here, such as Pettazzurro, Salciaiola, Forapaglie macchiettato, Beccaccino, Moriglione, Saltimpalo, Porciglione, Cuculo, Topino, Martin pescatore and Tarabuso (the last two species mainly in winter).

Nederlands: Het Abtswoudse Park is een gebied met rietvelden, slootjes en weilanden ten zuiden van Delft. Het sluit direct aan op een woonwijk. Ondanks de ligging dichtbij een woonwijk en de relatief grote hoeveelheid recreanten kun je hier leuke vogels zien zoals Pettazzurro, Salciaiola, Forapaglie macchiettato, Beccaccino, Moriglione, Saltimpalo, Porciglione, Cuculo, Topino, Martin pescatore en Tarabuso (de laatste twee vooral in de winter).

The Abtswoudse Park is located directly south of Delft. The best way to explore the area is on foot. You can park anywhere on the road Straat van Ormoes. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking lot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4.5 km.

Nederlands: Het Abtswoudse Park ligt direct ten zuiden van Delft. Je kunt het gebied het beste verkennen te voet. Parkeren kan ergens aan de Straat van Ormoes.
