Descrizione
On a sunny morning Queens Valley Reservoir can generate nearly 30 species and with the ability to park at either end and do a half loop its a great place for a short bird walk with Moretta common in winter, Ghiandaia and Rampichino comune around all year long. There are good numbers of larger more mature trees as well lots of willow and smaller understory creating a perfect variety of habitats.

Accesso
Departing from Gorey Pier in the East head up the hill on the B28 follow for approx 1 km before turing left onto La Ruette de Faldouet then at the end of the road turn left again and follow it for approx 700m until you see a Jersey Water sign for Queen's Valley Resevoir parking on your left.
On wet days or in winter boots would be recommended as it can be a bit muddy. The path is wide and well maintained but be warned there are a few hills as you make your way around so something to consider before starting your walk. There are plenty of benches though. Total length is 2.7km
It doesnt have any facilities but public toilets and cafes are nearby in Gorey.

There are feral flocks of some ornamental waterfowl, so be cautious especially if they are lining up in the carpark to get fed as you arrive. Once you are further around though a lot of the waterbirds are obviously wild.
