Descrizione
Part of the area belongs to a public park, while the rest is private (and not well kept). Still, it is possible to walk all around the lake (around 45 minutes + birding stops). There is a roost of Airone guardabuoi, a feral small population of Oca canadese and recently some Marangone minore. In the last years, wintering birds have included Siskin, Migliarino di palude, Passera scopaiola and Pendolino. Other nice birds are Tarabusino, Martin pescatore and Rigogolo. During spring migration several passerine birds stop for a few days, including Bigiarella, Pigliamosche and Balia nera. Rarities are possible (Collared flycatcher in 2018).
On sunny weekends a lot of people visit the area, so expect disturbance.
