Descrizione
Just southwest of Parakila, the Agios Ioannis chapel is located. The chapel lies within a scrubby and rocky gulley, and provides a great breeding habitat for species like Usignolo, Cincia dalmatina, Ortolano grigio and, especially, Zigolo cenerino. This last species can be found on the higher parts of the area.
The ridges above the gulley are good for (sometimes small flocks of) falcons, like Falco della Regina, Grillaio and Falco cuculo.
