Descrizione
Ziegelrodaer Forst is a big deciduous forest, which is dominated by oaks and beech trees. Natural rivers in the north of the area are the Querne, the Schmoner Bach and the Kriebitschbach. Next to many birds and red, black and roe deer that can be found in the forest. The area is a good place to see Nibbio reale with a density of 12.0 pairs / 100 km². But it's also a good area for woodpeckers and other forest birds. See the birdlist below.

Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking place. There are many trails through the forest. The map shows a circular walk of 12 km, but you can easily shorten it.
