Descrizione
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like Codibugnolo, Pettirosso and Ghiandaia, as well as waterfowl like Cigno reale, Anatra mandarina and Gallinella d'acqua.
Some of the usual Cinciallegra are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of Poiana that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many Rondine circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of Cardellino in the alders next to the pond.
