Descrizione
The Pätzer Plan is a large open space that is used for agriculture. The area is a mix of meadows and arable land. In the back there is also a small wetland. In winter, these areas are used as winter quarters for migratory birds such as Gru, Oca selvatica and Pavoncella. In summer there is a good chance of seeing Averla piccola, Beccaccino or Upupa. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Falco di palude, Gheppio, Poiana, Poiana calzata, Averla maggiore and Nibbio reale.

The place is easy to reach by car. Parking at the Haus des Waldes, click on the P in the map for directions. It is also possible to reach the area by bicycle (from the train station “Bestensee”) and there is also a bus that stops in front of the Pätzer Plan.
