Descrizione
NSG Lüsekamp is a nature reserve right on the Dutch-German border. It is home to many birds of the open mixed landscape and most famous for Averla piccola, but also plenty of other birds, for example Zigolo giallo, Sterpazzola, Beccafico, Cannaiola, Pavoncella and others. Best time to go is late spring / early summer, but you will be able to find birds all year around. Some migrating ducks in migration season and Averla maggiore and Albanella reale during winter, although these are a bit more scarce and you need some luck to see. The route indicated on the map is only from the car park to the observation point near the reed and water areas. You can venture further than that as seen on the roads in the map.
