Descrizione
Naturstrand Hilgenriedersiel is part of the National Park Wadden Sea. The natural beach of Hilgenriedersiel is the unique possibility to visit the edge of the salt marsh going into the sea. Even swimming is allowed. At most other places, entering that far into the national park is prohibited. Therefore you can also experience the typical Wadden Sea birds much closer. Especially in winter you can see Fanello nordico, Zigolo della Lapponia or Spioncello marino closer than usual. During the summertime you can see Pettegola and Pispola up close. A Wadden Sea experience worth a visit. You can also check the whole salt marsh around this place, to the east extending to Neßmersiel and to the West towards Norddeich.
