The lookout from the Moorochse tower is ideal in the morning, as from midday onwards there is backlighting and therefore reflections in the water. Martin pescatore regularly hunt here and the large number of Cormorano make them a popular hunting target for Aquila di mare. Other birds you can encounter are Gru, Canapiglia, Ballerina bianca, Airone bianco maggiore, Germano reale, Porciglione, Gallinella d'acqua, Cigno reale and Tuffetto.

The Moorochse observation tower is situated on the banks of the lake Plauer See, 9 km north of the town of Plau am See. Park at the nature center Karower Meiler. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking it is 1.7 km on foot or by bike to the observation tower.
