The Kolksee is a pond along the river Kinzig where Martin pescatore can be found. Among the other birds you can spot on the lake and in the surrounding area are Cormorano, Oca egiziana, Cinciarella, Germano reale, Cicogna bianca, Airone cenerino and Ballerina bianca.
