Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Usignolo di fiume and Cannareccione. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Oca selvatica roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Oca lombardella, Oca granaiola della taiga, Canapiglia, Germano reale, Alzavola, Moretta, Smergo maggiore, Smergo minore, Tuffetto, Svasso maggiore, Folaga, Migliarino di palude, Gabbiano comune, Gavina, Gabbiano reale, Gabbiano reale nordico, and Gabbiano reale pontico.

The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
