Descrizione
The Hemmelsdorfer See is a lake that has many different water birds, depending on the time of year. Breeding birds include Cigno reale, Canapiglia, Folaga and Svasso maggiore. Other birds that are observerd regularly are Martin pescatore, Aquila di mare, Falco di palude, Cannaiola, Cannareccione, Pettazzurro and Basettino. During migration you can observe birds like Gabbianello, Falco pescatore, Mignattino comune and Moriglione.
Coolest one I've seen were Pesciaiola in winter and I heard Rigogolo in the trees in summer. The boardwalk goes out into the lake and along the reeds. Also great spot for landscape photography.
