The Hainberg is an open area, but also partly covered with forest. Bird watching here is most worthwhile in summer, when Averla piccola, Rigogolo, Merlo acquaiolo, Picchio rosso mezzano, Picchio nero, Codirosso and Torcicollo can be seen. At the small pond and the river you can watch Martin pescatore as well as geese, ducks and Cormorano in the forest. And of course other typical forest birds.
