Descrizione
Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. Canapiglia, Moriglione and Cormorano spend the winter on the lakes. Tordela can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are Picchio rosso minore , Picchio rosso mezzano, Frosone and Ciuffolotto.
In winter Tordo sassello and Peppola can also be seen. At night you can see Beccaccia, hear Allocco call and very occasionally Gufo reale. During migration I saw Falco pescatore hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.
