A quiet backroad through the small settlement of Groß Karrendorf leads to a parking place. From there you can walk (3 km) towards Insel Koos. The Koos island itself is off limits. On both side of the road are wetland and reedbeds. Here you can see many nice birds like Totano moro. Aquila di mare, Falaropo beccosottile, Basettino, Piovanello comune or Piro piro boschereccio, to name just a few.
