The area of a former french military airport Flugplatz Bremgarten consists of meadows and small forests and holds some of the scarcer breeding birds of the region, notably Rigogolo, Strillozzo, Canapino comune and Tortora selvatica. In spring and autumn the area is good for migrating and resting raptors (e.g. harriers, sometimes Falco cuculo) and passerines (e.g. Culbianco, Stiaccino).
