Vineyards with two pairs of Zigolo muciatto (one of the northernmost breeding places), Verzellino , Fanello and Bigiarella. In the rocks above the vineyards is Falco pellegrino. In the close-by forest are breeding Picchio rosso mezzano, Picchio nero, Corvo imperiale, Luì verde and Allocco.
During migration, you can see migrating raptors and some other migratory birds. In summer, there are also many raptors like Nibbio bruno and Falco pecchiaiolo.

There is a nearby train station in Rhöndorf (you can come by regional train from Cologne and Koblenz or by tramway from Bonn). You can park in Rhöndorf or at the restaurant below the vineyards.
