Descrizione
The Bordelumer Heide with its many habitats ranging from spruce forests and little ponds to heathland, provides a home to different bird species. In the forest you can find birds such as Pigliamosche, Cincia dal ciuffo and Rampichino alpestre. The ponds and the surrounding reed are habitats for Cannaiola, Oca selvatica and Martin pescatore. Where the area is more open you can hear Prispolone sing in spring. Cuculo, Zigolo giallo, Organetto minore and Saltimpalo are also breeding in the heath areas. A Falco pellegrino breeds near by in the radiotower. Sometimes Aquila di mare are flying over the area to hunt at the coastline.
