Descrizione
Auesee Wesel is a lake that is mainly interesting in the winter to watch migrating waterfowl as well as to take a look at the birding island during breeding season. Rare and not so common ducks can sometimes be observed here, such as Moretta grigia, Moretta tabaccata, Edredone, Orco marino or Quattrocchi. It's proximity to the Rhine river is a magnet for these migrating birds. There is a bird island, where birds like Airone cenerino, Sterna comune and Cormorano breed and you can watch it from an observation point. Around the lake there are trees and woodlands with the birds, you can expect in such a habitat.
