The Aper Tief is a lightly elevated observation area on a body of water that still shows a little ebb and flow. A very quiet area that is nice for birding.
The Aper Tief is a nature reserve of 75 hectares where you have good and close views of shallow water with various ducks, geese, waders, Cicogna bianca and possibly Aquila di mare.
The best way to get to the lookout is by bike, but there is also the possibility of parking a car on the edge of the field, but only if there are not already 2 cars there. On the way to the lookout you will also pass a lookout tower.
The best conditions are in my opinion during low tide in the evening when the observation westerly observation spot offers the best conditions. Top species in my opinion is also Pittima reale whereas Pittima minore is rather uncommon.
