Abtskücher Teich is a lake with surrounding bushes. The pond and stream provide a good environment for various waterfowl and water-loving birds. You can see Martin pescatore, Cormorano, Airone cenerino, Cigno reale, Picchio rosso maggiore, Germano reale and Folaga. Also Nutrias live here. In the surrounding fields, you can also see Fiorrancino, Regolo, Passera Europea, Astore and Poiana.

The Abtskücher Teich is located 3 km west of the town of Velbert. Parking lots are nearby. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. There is a footpath around the pond (about 1 km).
