The Piste d'Angoulême forest trail allows the observation of canopy species, the cottage which is located in a clearing and which is dotted with fruit trees allows the observation of nectar-eating and frugivorous species at the right time of year. Among the birds that can be spotted are Black Hawk-Eagle, Fork-tailed Woodnymph, Long-tailed Hermit, Crimson-crested Woodpecker, White-tailed Trogon, Painted Parakeet, White-throated Toucan, Channel-billed Toucan (Ariel), Black-necked Aracari, Red-fan Parrot, Green Oropendola, Purple Honeycreeper, Giant Cowbird, Green Aracari, Coraya Wren, Band-tailed Antshrike, Pompadour Cotinga, Dusky Parrot, Ruddy Pigeon, Scaled Pigeon, White-throated Manakin, White Hawk, White-necked Jacobin, Cinnamon-throated Woodcreeper, Paradise Jacamar, Todd's Sirystes, Grayish Mourner, Rufous-tailed Flatbill, Guianan Trogon, Black-throated Trogon, Cinnamon Attila, Lemon-chested Greenlet, Tiny Tyrant-Manakin, White-crowned Manakin, Golden-headed Manakin, Yellow-rumped Cacique, Silver-beaked Tanager, Yellow-green Grosbeak, White-thighed Swallow, White-banded Swallow, Waved Woodpecker, Great Jacamar, Golden-green Woodpecker, Ringed Woodpecker, Red-necked Woodpecker, Guianan Warbling-Antbird, Golden-sided Euphonia, Amazonian Pygmy-Owl, Blue Dacnis, Crested Oropendola, Great Tinamou, Grey-fronted Dove, Caica Parrot, Black-headed Parrot, Buff-throated Woodcreeper, Mouse-colored Antshrike, Green Honeycreeper, Double-toothed Kite, Variable Chachalaca and Marail Guan.

Piste d'Angoulême: you can access this pleasant place by taking the RN 1. Half an hour's drive from Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, at kilometer point 206, you have to take a small track of a few kilometers which winds through the forest on white sand.
