Tourbière de Chastel is a sensitive high-altitude natural area with a wealth of habitats and the opportunity to observe raptors on the surrounding heights. Among the birds you can observe are Nibbio reale, Biancone, Averla maggiore, Averla piccola, Gruccione, Merlo dal collare, Cincia mora, Corvo imperiale, Stiaccino and Saltimpalo.
