Descrizione
Moëze-Oléron nature reserve is a national and international major site for wintering and migrating birds in the East Atlantic flyway: 60 000 waders and 30 000 waterfowls stop or pass through each winters. The bushes right next to the visitor centre is a perfect spot for migrating passerines. The mudflats on the beach is best visited during high tides when waders are closer to the shore and big flocks fly over to roost in the reserve.
