Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the Pettegola, the Cavaliere d'Italia, the Usignolo di fiume, the Beccamoschino, the Gheppio or the Volpoca. During migration, the Falaropo beccolargo or the Codirosso spazzacamino are passing through. In winter, Oca colombaccio, Piviere dorato and Pavoncella are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
