Descrizione
Lac Amance is a large lake where many birds can be seen up close from a nice bird hide. Overlooking wide muddy areas of the lake's banks, surrounded by willows and reeds, you can spot many shorebirds. This place is also the 1st wintering place in France for Cigno minore, which are coming from Siberia. In winter you can also find divers, many ducks, Pesciaiola, Smergo maggiore and Falco pellegrino. In summer terns, (mainly Sterna comune, sometimes Mignattino comune), and many warblers. In autumn many waders and shorebirds.
Highlight of the year: the autumn migration. When large numbers of Gru (20,000 to 40,000 birds) migrate to the surrounding areas.
