Anse de Penfoulic is a cove and salt marsh providing habitat for many wading birds such as Pantana, Pettegola, Piro piro piccolo, and Piro piro culbianco. But also Pittima reale, Chiurlo piccolo, Svasso piccolo, Tuffetto and Svasso maggiore. Numerous gulls are found in the area. Martin pescatore sometimes flies overhead, as do Oca colombaccio, which also land there. The Beccaccia di mare, Voltapietre and Pivieressa are also present for much of the year. Finally, Spatola, Fischione, Germano reale and Volpoca as well as the Gheppio can also be observed.

Français: Marais découvert à marée basse acceuillant notamment la Svasso piccolo en automne, le Pantana , ou le Martin pescatore. Anse et vasière d'eau salée abrittant beucoup d'oiseaux limicoles comme le Pantana , le Pettegola , Piro piro piccolo et le Piro piro culbianco Mais aussi la Pittima reale, le Chiurlo piccolo la Svasso piccolo, Tuffetto et Svasso maggiore. De nombreux goélands sont présent sur la zone, parfois le Martin pescatore survole la zone comme les Oca colombaccio qui viennent aussi s'y poser. Les Beccaccia di mare, les Voltapietre et les Pivieressa sont aussi présent une bonne partie de l'année. Enfin, la Spatola, le Fischione, le Germano reale et la Volpoca ainsi que le Gheppio couronne le tout.

Anse de Penfoulic is located in Fouesnant. Park in the car park on Route du Port in Fouesnant. Press P on the map for directions tot the parking spot. Then, facing the sea, walk along the mudflat to the left. 300m further on, a footpath runs alongside the mudflat to the Penfoulic mill. The best way to explore the area is on foot. A spotting scope may be necessary as the birds are often far away, however, some less timid birds can easily be observed with binoculars. The route shown on the map is 2,5 km one way.

Français: Se garer au parking de la Route du Port de Fouesnant puis façe à la mer, longer la vasière vers la gauche. 300m plus loin, un chemin piéton longe la vasière jusqu'au moulin de Penfoulic. Le mieux est de visiter l'endroit à pied, une longue vue peut être necessaire car les oiseaux sont souvent loins, cependant, certains oiseaux peu craintinfs se laiserons facilement observer aux jumelles.
