Villa San Ignacio is a hotel and restaurant that has a big garden and adjacent to the garden quite a nice patch of urban jungle. The hotel is located only 7 kilometers from San José's international airport. The big garden and the adjacent forest attract many birds.

Birds that are often seen in the gardens and jungle include Boat-billed Flycatcher, Long-billed Starthroat, Plain-capped Starthroat, Green-breasted Mango, Steely-vented Hummingbird, Cinnamon Hummingbird, Grey Hawk, Hoffmann's Woodpecker, Lineated Woodpecker, Lesson's Motmot, Fiery-billed Aracari, Keel-billed Toucan, Social Flycatcher, Squirrel Cuckoo, Grey-headed Chachalaca, Barred Antshrike, Yellow-green Vireo, Rufous-capped Warbler, Buff-throated Saltator and Summer Tanager.

Hotel and restaurant Villa San Ignacio is located in Tambor, 4 kilometers north of Alajuela Center and 7 km from San José international airport. The gardens of Villa San Ignacio are always open, but the adjacent patch of jungle is only accessible through a gate that is open from 7 am to 5 pm. The jungle area is not very big, but has some nice short trails and plenty of birds.
