Accesso
Oak Lake is a provincial park along highway 254 in western Manitoba, Canada. There is camping and a small resort area with a single store / canteen. There is parking along the beach & overflow parking a couple blocks away. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking. As there are many marshes in the area, I generally drive through and park next to a marsh while I photograph the various birds.

It is suggested to get a provincial park pass if camping. The area is generally not over run by people although groups do come out to see the sunset over the lake. If you come bring mosquito spray as they can be bad if the wind is down. The lake is shallow so waves can be tricky if boating.
