Descrizione
The forested Fenland Trail is just north of downtown Banff. The interpretive trail makes a gentle 2 km loop along creekside paths with wooden bridges. In the old-growth spruce trees forest you can observe many birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Brown Creeper, Mountain Chickadee, White-winged Crossbill, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Belted Kingfisher, American Three-toed Woodpecker and American Dipper.

The Fenland Trail is located right at the entrance to the village of Banff. There's a small parking lot at the trailhead with limited parking. So it's best to park for free at the train station public parking area - just a 5 minute walk from this trail. Press a P on the map for directions. The Fenland Trail is also within walking distance of the village. A national park entry pass is required to hike this trail (see for more info the link below).
