At Pousada Piuval, meadows and marshy areas alternate in the dry season. Next to the excellent accommodation there is a beautiful pond and guided tours are possible with jeeps. There is a feeding area in the domain. You can also take walks. Birds you can see include Southern Screamer, Rufescent Tiger-Heron, Green Ibis, Southern Lapwing, Monk Parakeet and Pauraque. There are also various species of woodpeckers and kingfishers present.
