Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Germano reale. Some other duck species can be seen like Canapiglia, Codone and Alzavola. In the trees there are common birds like Cinciallegra, Cinciarella and Picchio rosso maggiore. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Capinera, Fringuello and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Merlo acquaiolo and Smergo maggiore who nest nearby. Also other species like Cicogna bianca, Airone cenerino and Poiana.
