Among the birds you can see here are Martin pescatore, Canapiglia, Svasso maggiore, Tuffetto, Airone bianco maggiore, Alzavola, Marzaiola, Porciglione, Beccaccino, Moretta tabaccata, Cormorano and Moretta tabaccata.

Vierkensbroek is located northwest of the town of Diest in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem. You can park at only 100 m from the viewing cabin, Bergstraat 70. Press P on the map for directions. Several hiking routes are possible. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
