Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like Picchio nero and Picchio rosso minore breed here as well as Astore and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, Balia nera and Regolo, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an Beccaccia hiding beneath the bushes or gulls, Tottavilla and Saltimpalo on the surrounding fields.
