Hoofsweer - Kooldries is a varied area with wet and dry forests, heathland, larger and smaller clay pits. There is a bird watching blind at the largest pond with a chance of Fischione, Folaga, Canapiglia and Moretta in winter. There is a chance of Martin pescatore, Germano reale, Cigno reale around the ponds and various species of woodpeckers in the forest all year round.

Nederlands: Hoofsweer - Kooldries is een afwisselend gebied met natte en droge bossen, heiderelicten, grotere en kleinere kleiputten ontstaan door kleiontginning. Er is een vogelkijkwand bij de grootste waterplas met in de winter kans op Fischione, Folaga, Canapiglia en Moretta. Heel het jaar door kans op Martin pescatore, Germano reale, Cigno reale en in het bos diverse soorten spechten.

Hoofsweer - Kooldries is located northeast of Antwerp near the towns of Brecht and Sint-Lenaars. Parking is available along the Dessel Schoten canal (Boudewijnstraat-Vaartweg), near the Cuveee Hoeve. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 5 km.

Nederlands: Hoofsweer - Kooldries ligt ten noordoosten van Antwerpen bij Brecht en Sint-Lenaars. Parkeren kan langs het kanaal Dessel Schoten (Boudewijnstraat-Vaartweg), ter hoogte van de Cuveee Hoeve. Druk op P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar de parkeerplaats.
