The Blarewater is a small forest and scrubland area where you can find species such as Regolo, Fiorrancino and all the species of tits. On the water you can find Moretta, Canapiglia, Folaga, Germano reale and Mestolone in small numbers in winter. The dead wood provides Picchio rosso maggiore that you can see up close. Capinera is present in the rough undervegetation.

Nederlands: Het Blarewater is een klein bos en struweel gebied waar je soorten zoals Regolo, Fiorrancino en alle mezen kan aantreffen. Op het water tref je in de winter Moretta, Canapiglia, Folaga, Germano reale en Mestolone aan in kleine aantallen die er sporadisch zijn. Het dode hout zorgt dan weer voor Picchio rosso maggioredie je van dichtbij kan zien. Capinera is in de ruige ondervegetatie aanwezig.

The Blarewater is located on the river Bovenschelde near the village of Hermelgem. You can reach the area via the public road under the Zingem bridge. The short circular walk shown on the map is only 0.5 km.
