The Baumwipfelweg is a treetop path where you can walk at eye level with the birds. It is a path through mixed forest and at the end of the path you have a beautiful view over the fields and the cultivated landscape. Among the birds you can encounter along the way and in the tree tops are Frosone, Tortora selvatica, Rigogolo, Upupa, Tordela, Picchio verde, Picchio nero, Picchio rosso maggiore, Picchio muratore, Cincia bigia, Cincia dal ciuffo and Cincia mora.

It is best to drive directly to the Baumwipfelweg car park. Click on the P in the map to get directions. On the way there you should already look out for Upupa. The entrance fee for the treetop path is 6 euros.
