Descrizione
Nourlangie Rock, located in World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, is famous for its Indigenous rock art.
It is also very popular among birders for an array of sought-after Kakadu endemic birds, including White-lined Honeyeater, Chestnut-quilled Rock-Pigeon and Helmeted Friarbird. Others also sought for include Sandstone Shrikethrush, Partridge Pigeon and Banded Fruit-Dove.
This short walk will take visitors along world class rock art up to a lookout offering spectacular views.

Accesso
Turn off the Kakadu Highway 19km south of the Bowali Visitor Centre and travel a further 12 km to arrive at the (extensive) parking area. Press P on the map to access Google mapping.

This walk can be combined with the 8km Barrk Sandstone loop walk - see link below. Note that the Barrk walk is regarded as being strenuous; walkers must be well prepared.
