Lee Point Dam sits in the middle of Lee Point; a site under threat of urban development. It is habitat for the endangered Gouldian Finch.
Other birds seen at this locality include: Bar-breasted Honeyeater, Dusky Honeyeater, Bush Stone-Curlew and Blue-winged Kookaburra.
